We are pleased to offer this very nicely restored 1969 Ford F100 Ranger. Finished in Candy Apple Red with an incredible custom “flames” paint job (yes, this is painted and clear-coated, not a vinyl applique), this is one truck that never fails to turn heads. Highly optioned with the Ranger trim package, 390 cubic inch V8, automatic transmission with overdrive, power steering and power brakes (front disk).
Laser straight body with excellent door fitment and panel gaps. Very slick paint job with no flaws to note. Excellent floors, rockers, cab mounts, cab corners and bed with no known rust. BF Goodrich tires have nearly 100 percent trade remaining. Full tonneau cover for bed. Interior has been updated with newer seat (upholstered in grey velour) and three-point seat belts, but factory dash instrumentation, all of which is working, remains. Grant wheel, modern stereo and supplemental tach have been added.
Under the hood is a 390 cubic inch V8 mated to a C6 automatic with a Gear Vendors overdrive unit attached. Thanks to a Holley four-barrel double-pumper carb, an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold and headers, this 390 makes big power and both runs and sounds great. Steering, suspension, brakes and drivetrain all feel very well-sorted and dialed in – to our knowledge this truck needs nothing except to be enjoyed by its next owner.
