We are pleased to offer this 1966 Dodge Coronet 500 Convertible. The unusual color combination of Medium Turquoise Metallic over cream interior with matching convertible top is striking. As a top-trim level 500 model this example is highly optioned with a big-block 361ci V8, automatic, power steering, power brakes, power top, power windows, bucket seats with console, tach, padded dash and air. Oil pressure and temp gauges have been added under the dash for more accuracy and a “Secret Audio” system is installed so that the clean look of the original radio in the dash remains. The engine is date-code correct and believed to be original.
This example shows as an honest and attractive driver throughout. An older repaint in the original turquoise is holding up well but has a few minor flaws. The interior is mostly original and shows well with a light patina, likewise the convertible top is in good condition with a newer back window.
Equipped with good options and certainly more unique than the typical offerings, all at an approachable price point.
